Rebecca "Becky" Louise Francis, 53, of Manhattan, died Friday, April 21, at the Mercy Regional Health Center.
    She was born on July 24, 1952 in Emporia, the daughter of Harry Edwards and Wilma Lucille (Weber) Ault.
    Mrs. Francis was a homemaker.
    She is survived by her mother, Wilma Ault of Manhattan; a son, Gary Francis, Jr. and his wife Tina of Manhattan; a daughter, Alicia A. McMaughtry and her husband Robert of Alaska and three grandchildren, Ryan Christine Francis, Logan Kai Francis and Sidney Elaine Horne.
    She was preceded in death by a son, James Edward Francis in 1973, and by her father.
    Cremation is planned with a private family graveside service in Sunrise Cemetery.
    A memorial has been established for the Terry C. Johnson for Basic Cancer Research. Memorial contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan, 66502.
