Delores Carter, 67, passed away on February 8, 2020 at Midland Hospice in Topeka Kansas after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born to the late Roy and Hildegard Carter on August 5, 1952 in Vienna Austria. A military family; they moved to Manhattan, Kansas in 1969. She was a graduate of Manhattan High School in 1970 then attended Kansas State University. She worked at the Riley County Extension office then became a para professional until she retired. For the past several years she volunteered at the Riley County Seniors Center helping community members enroll in services to have meals delivered to their homes.

Survivors include her brother Mikel Carter; 3 children Tanja Roth (daughter) and her husband Stephen Roth, Natalie Roberts (daughter), and her son Trevor Rexrode; 4 grandchildren Jacob Fateley, Bradley Coyne, Cole Fateley, and Alison Coyne; and lifelong friends.
