Barbara Sue Leader, former Kirwin area resident, was born February 6, 1952, in Smith Center, Kansas, to Lawrence and Vala (Lamont) DeBey. She passed away on March 5, 2010, at the Hill Crest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 58.

Barbara made her home in Jenks, Oklahoma, and worked in the Tax Accounting field.

Her parents, Lawrence and Vala DeBey, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Jeremy of Hawthorne, California, and Andrew of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother, Michael DeBey; and two sisters, Carol Church and Evelyn Dukes. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
