William Dean "Bill" Hill

William Dean Hill, 68, Halls Summit, died Thursday, November 5, 2020, at his home.

Bill was born June 30, 1952, in Manhattan, to Kenneth Wayne Hill and Viola M. (Benson) Hill. He worked for Hill Electric in Manhattan and later for Fluor Daniel as an electrician at Wolf Creek Generating Station, until his retirement.

On March 25, 1995, he married Cynthia (Crome) Bailey at Waverly. Together, they lived in Halls Summit.

Bill was an electrician by trade, but a cowboy at heart. He had a great love for his horses and spent his entire life rodeoing. He also loved music and spent many hours playing his guitars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a stepbrother.

He leaves his wife, Cindy; two sons, Casey and Corey; a granddaughter, Caley; three stepsons, Nick (Cassie) Bailey, Tim (Heather) Bailey, and Jon (Alexis) Bailey; a brother, Merle, and other relatives and friends.

Midwest Cremation Society, Topeka, is in charge of cremation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Halls Summit Cemetery.
