Joyce Elaine (Kufahl) Parsons, 65, of Lenexa, KS, died surrounded by family Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Pittsburgh, PA.

The daughter of Herman and Martha (Hensley) Kufahl; born in Manhattan, KS, on December 5, 1951. She married Stuart Parsons on January 4, 1974. Survived by her husband, Stuart, daughter Christin (Joe) LaMourie of Shawnee, KS, granddaughter Ella, grandson Liam, and sisters Mary Kufahl and Debbie Borgo. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Billy Kufahl.

A celebration-of-life service will be held at Ipm Saturday, April 1, at the United Methodist Church in Lenexa, followed by visitation 2-4pm in Schneeberger Hall at the church.

In lieu of flowers, Joyce would prefer memorial contributions be made to the George & Hila Parsons Scholarship Fund at Kansas State University.
