John A. McInteer
John A. McInteer, 43, Junction City, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 1995, at a Junction City hospital.
Mr. McInteer operated heavy equipment for Kershaw Ready Mix in Manhattan.
He was born March 10, 1952, in Manhattan, the son of Sanford McInteer and
Rosemary Germonprez McInteer. He graduated from Manhattan High School in 1970.
Mr. McInteer was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan,
the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge No. 1037 in Junction City.
He married Elizabeth "Liz" Rucker on Dec. 1, 1984, in Junction City. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Eric McInteer, at home; a daughter, Christina
McInteer, at home; two brothers, Jim McInteer, Weaver, Iowa, and Richard McInteer, Wamego; and two sisters,
Mary Kay Gray, Manhattan, and Ann Henderson, Midlothian, Va.
Services were held Dec. 2 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan. Burial
was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery southeast of Manhattan. Johnson Funeral Chapel in Junction City was in
charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the John A. McInteer Memorial Fund and
sent in care of the funeral home.
